We travel to Anuradhapura to explore the ancient city tour. You will see incredible historic sites including the sacred Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanweliseya stupa, Jethawanaramaya, Kuttam Pokuna, and the Abayagiri monastery and stupa. We will then travel back to Sigiriya to explore the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress, witnessing the ruins of an ancient kingdom built atop a gigantic column of rock. Today we visit the serene Nelligala Temple, a local tea factory in Kandy, and the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, an expansive and historic garden famous for its wide variety of tropical flora.
