Itinerary
Day 1
Ayubowan! We will be waiting at the airport to warmly welcome you to Sri Lanka with beautiful orchid garlands. We will travel directly to Kandy, where you will visit a local tea factory, the Kandy Tea Museum, and enjoy a vibrant Kandy cultural dancing show in the evening. Overnight stay at a boutique hotel in Kandy.
Day 2
After breakfast, we visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. This profoundly sacred temple is located within the royal palace complex of the former Kandyan Kingdom and enshrines the left canine tooth of Gautama Buddha. We will visit the Kandy View Point, explore the Gem Museum and Wood Carving center, stroll through the Peradeniya Botanical Garden—a gorgeous expanse of manicured lawns, towering bamboo, and colorful orchids—and then travel to Hatton. Overnight stay at a boutique hotel in Hatton.
Day 3
Immerse yourself in tea culture by visiting a tea plantation and factory for some authentic Ceylon tea tasting. We will also visit the beautiful Gartmore Falls and enjoy stunning views of the Maskeliya reservoir. Overnight stay at a boutique hotel in Hatton.
Day 4
We travel directly to Nuwara Eliya, visiting another tea plantation and factory for more tasting experiences. We will relax at Gregory Lake and Victoria Park, and in the afternoon, indulge in a luxurious high tea experience at a 5-star boutique hotel. Overnight stay at a boutique hotel in Nuwara Eliya.
Day 5
We travel early in the morning to Haputale to take in the spectacular views from Lipton’s Seat. We will visit the Dambatenne Tea Factory. Built by Thomas Lipton, this is the oldest and largest tea factory in Sri Lanka, manufacturing the famous Lipton Ceylon black tea. We will also visit the tranquil Adisham Bungalow (St. Benedict’s Monastery). Overnight stay at a boutique hotel in Haputale.
Day 6
We travel to Ella, where you will visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge, an architectural wonder located in a lush gorge surrounded by tea plantations. You will see the cascading Ravana Falls, and take a short, rewarding hike up Little Adam’s Peak which offers stunning views of the surrounding tea estates and valleys. We will also experience the thrilling Flying Ravana Adventure Park. Overnight stay at a boutique hotel in Ella.
Day 7
After a delicious breakfast, we head to Colombo. We will assist you with your departure at the airport, wishing you a safe flight back home.
