In the morning, we visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, an important shrine in the former Kingdom of Kandy holding the Buddha’s tooth relic. We will enjoy the Kandy View Point, walk around Kandy Lake, and visit the Bahirawa Kanda Temple. We will also explore the Gem Museum, Wood Carving center, and Peradeniya Botanical Garden, a vast and beautiful area known for its diverse plant life and historic trees. We travel to Nuwara Eliya, making a stop at the beautiful Ramboda Waterfall. We will visit a Tea Factory and Tea Plantation to learn about the famous Ceylon tea, relax at Gregory Lake, and explore the charming City of Little England. Overnight stay at a hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Enjoy an early morning trip to Horton Plains National Park, a high-altitude plateau known for its stark beauty and unique wildlife (with an optional visit to Moon Plains). Later, take one of the world’s most scenic train journeys as we travel to Ella. Overnight stay at a hotel in Ella.

We take a light, picturesque hike up Little Adam’s Peak that offers sweeping, uninterrupted views of the hill country. We then visit the famous Nine Arches Bridge, a magnificent stone structure nestled amongst tea fields and thick greenery. We will also experience the Flying Ravana zip-line and visit the beautiful Ravana Waterfall. In the evening, enjoy dinner at a highly rated restaurant in Ella Town. We head down from the mountains towards Yala. Prepare for an exciting Yala National Jeep Safari to observe leopards, elephants, and diverse wildlife in their natural habitat. Overnight stay at a hotel in Yala or Thissamaharama.
